Coach Diane wellnwise

Hello!

I'm Diane.  I went from unhealthy to healthy, unhappy to happy, and discouraged to encouraged and owe it all to motivating and inspiring seeds someone planted within me which I eventually cultivated!  As a result, encouraging people to empower themselves with wisdom, a fundamental precedent to transforming life, has become my passion.  My clients give me the name, 'Coach,' and I wear the name as a badge of honor.  I hope to impact people effectively and pay it forward and would love to partner with you in your journey.

My Story

Hi there!

I struggled with post-pregnancy weight, unhealthy food and lifestyle habits, and feeling unenergetic. I felt misled by failing diet programs, endless laboratory testing, various forms of bad advice, a failing health system, and totally feeling stuck!  My story also is one that involves caretaking for a family member having similar circumstances.

But I overcame these struggles...

Research, education, trial by error, and encouragement, helped me learn how specific foods and lifestyle changes impact quality of life. The fundamental key is to locate the root cause and understand how our personal, environmental, mental, and social circumstances shape the development and improvement of our mind-set about ourselves, our food, and our environment.

Those steps served me out of an unenergetic and pre-diabetic mom and transformed me into an amateur body builder at age 40!  That commitment to being informed also served my family member dealing with a misdiagnosis and misdirection towards unneeded mind-altering and personality-changing medication.

In 2010, I became a certified Master Trainer and have transformed the lives of many ranging from 8 to 80 including youth sports coaching, group exercise instructing, exercise therapy, sports nutrition, and bodybuilding coaching, to name a few.

After becoming a certified Health Coach in 2016, I broadened the impact and implementing corporate wellness programs, conducting local public speaking events, advising local high school athletic programs, and began training competitive athletes.

In 2022, I earned a master's degree in Integrative Health and Clinical Nutrition and is the area of concentration that I am spending most of my time. I enjoy sharing evidence-based research, knowledge and coaching to help people tune into their mind, body, and spirit, discover root causes of symptoms, reduce and/or eliminate those symptoms, boost self-confidence, reduce other health risks, and just feel better overall.

Being informed gave me the ability to take charge and control my family's health. Indeed, I am so passionate about sharing evidence and research so much that God led me to change my career at age 50 to help inform others do the same for themselves!
